Job Description:

Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team and support our continued success and ambitious growth plans. This role is remote and you'll ideally need to be located in either the South West or South East region.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee Quality within the Ontic Supply Chain, including approval of suppliers and monitoring of supplier performance.
2. Conduct product and system audits (internally and externally) to assess the technical/process capabilities of potential and existing suppliers.
3. Work with internal colleagues and suppliers to initiate corrective action and resolve product discrepancies, preventing future issues.
4. Manage additional quality projects and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience performing to AS9100/AS9102 standards.
2. Strong background in Supplier Quality Engineering and/or Auditing within the Aerospace environment.
3. Knowledge of machining processes, castings, and forgings.
4. Subject matter expert in quality engineering principles and regulatory administration in areas such as Part 21, Part 145, ISO 9001, Corrective Action Response (CAR), and Root Cause Investigation Techniques.

This is a critical role within the business, maintaining standards at the highest level, requiring a self-driven and proactive individual.
