An exciting opportunity awaits a passionate Head Chef to lead the culinary team at a charming family-owned hotel and restaurant in Derbyshire. With support from a kitchen assistant and a weekend chef, you'll have the autonomy to showcase your culinary skills. A great opportunity for a Head Chef to join the team at a small family owned hotel, bar and restaurant that also caters for weddings in a fantastic and busy tourist location in Derbyshire. The current restaurant menu consists of fresh, seasonal food using seasonal local ingredients served in an informal relaxed atmosphere. There is also a bar menu which is extremely busy during the summer season. In this role you will have autonomy on the dishes and menus for the restaurant, bar and weddings. You will be working with the help of a kitchen assistant and an additional weekend chef.
Requirements:
The role needs a previous Sous or Head Chef that is enthusiastic and has experience working in fresh food kitchens. It is essential that you are able to work alone and have a sound knowledge of legislation and paperwork that is required to run a kitchen.
