Telescopic Forklift Operator / Facilities Operative

Our client is currently looking for a Telescopic Forklift Operator / Facilities Operative to work within the recycling sector. This role is based in Stanwell.

Hours are:

06:00 - 17:00 (Monday to Friday) ADHOC

OR

17:00 to 04:00 (Monday to Friday) ADHOC

Duties of a Telescopic Forklift Operator/ Facilities Operative:

• Ensure baled materials are removed from the baler machine in a timely and safe manner.
• Ensure all bales are stacked safely.
• Load and unload any trailers or containers.
• Empty bins of material within the plant.
• Complete paperwork and assist with quality checking.
• Assist with the maintenance of the Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) storage.
• Keep inside of cab clean and tidy.
• Clarify loads with the weighbridge.
• Complete trailer inspection sheets.
• Must ensure that the machine is clean and suitable for the following operator.
• Acting as the final point of contact for quality control prior to the baled product being loaded for sale.
• To ensure you achieve any performance targets for the Cleaning Personnel.
• To ensure your equipment as provided is maintained in a clean and fit for purpose.
• To be flexible in your approach to work and be willing to operate in any position.
• Assisting with any other such duties on site as and when required.
• To ensure you maintain, clean down and utilise any of the company's facilities as would be expected and directed at all times.

The Successful Candidate:

• 1 year of experience operating telescopic forklift.
• 1 year of experience working in a warehouse.
• Must be computer literate.
• Telescopic and Counterbalance forklift licence - both preferred.
• 5 years checkable history.
