Homes for Students is one of the UK's leading providers of student accommodation.
We are currently looking for Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team based at Harrogate, working 25 hours per week, 9:30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday. Working within the Universal Client Team, the accounts assistant will become the day-to-day contact for a number of staff members within our student accommodation properties and our investors and to our finance team, providing administrative support. Excellent communication skills, accuracy, efficiency, and an eye for detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain work orders from property teams to refund rent and deposits
- Work closely with property teams to address any student account queries
- Process deposit bulk refunds and uploads
- Upload Invoices and Payments from the booking system to the financial system
- Create payment files through the Bank accounts
- Posting and reconciling of Month End Sales Recharges
- Bank account reconciliations
- Utilities invoices and payments
- Perform Internal audit sampling
- General Finance support
- Any Other AdHoc tasks as required

Experience and QualificationsEssential- 1-2 Years' experience in a Finance function
- AAT Studier
- Good communicator and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills and can work in a methodical manner
- Time management skills
- Proven track record of Administrative support
