This is a full-time, on-site role located in South Woodham Ferrers for a CNC 5 Axis Programmer Setter Operator working in the F1 and defence industries. The candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC 5 Axis machines, programming CNC machinery including DMG, Haas, and YCM, interpreting and working with technical drawings, and performing milling and machining tasks to produce high-precision components. Daily tasks also include monitoring machine performance, ensuring quality control, and maintaining manufacturing timelines.

Being able to programme offline using Alphacam or Hypermill.

Qualifications

Proficiency in CNC Programming and Machining
Experience with Technical Drawing interpretation and application
Skilled in Milling and Programming
Attention to detail and high standards of quality
Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is a plus
Relevant vocational or technical training in CNC machining or mechanical engineering
