We are looking to appoint a part-time Vestry Assistant to help support the work of our busy Vestry team which is currently comprised of the Parish Administrator, Verger and Accounts Clerk.
The successful candidate will have good practical and prioritisation skills, be personable, energetic and willing to learn and work as part of a team. Whilst previous experience of working in a parish church is not essential, the successful candidate will be sympathetic with the ethos of St George’s which has a reputation for dignified formal worship based on the Book of Common Prayer.
Salary: £18.60 per hour
Hours: Regular working days Thursday/Friday. A minimum of 15 hours per week which will include some evening and weekend work.
