Workday Consultant

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Workday Consultant based 3 days a week onsite in Bedfordshire, remainder remote for a 6 month contract.

You will be responsible for working alongside the Workday Platform team and manage Platform mission, vision and Road map. Work collaboratively with supporting teams to enhance the processes and business requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end implementation of Workday modules (HCM, Financials, Payroll, etc.), ensuring successful deployment and user adoption.
  • Configure and customize Workday functionalities to meet specific business requirements and improve system efficiency.
  • Define business and technical requirements for data migration, overseeing integration into Workday's test environment and ensuring data is cleansed properly before go Live.
  • Develop and maintain workforce management tools, replacing decommissioned systems for enhanced data integrity.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, program leadership, and cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and execution of the project.
  • Design and optimize business processes within Workday to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of business processes to align with organizational changes and best practices.
  • Maintain data integrity within Workday by performing regular audits and implementing data validation rules.
  • Develop and generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Function as a liaison between technical teams and business units to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
  • Lead system upgrades and enhancements, including testing, documentation, and deployment of new features.
  • Monitor Workday system performance and implement improvements to enhance user experience and system efficiency

Key Skills:

  • Experience in Workday modules such Core HCM, Talent & Performance, Advanced Compensation, and Learning
  • Experience managing Workday reporting and analytics.
  • Experience in understanding integrations to/from workday to different third party systems
  • (Must) have demonstrated leadership skills in previous engagement(s)
  • (Nice to have) have any of the following certifications - Workday HCM Certification/Workday Recruiting Certification/Workday Integrations Certifications/Workday Reporting Certifications
  • (Nice to have) have architecture and technology knowledge in Aviation domain
