Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled ERP Enterprise Architect with deep knowledge of ERP systems (preferably D365) to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of ERP solutions across multiple business functions, with a particular focus on Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other core enterprise processes. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of various ERP modules, including but not limited to Finance, HR, Procurement, Sales, and Operations. This role will involve working closely with business leaders and IT teams to ensure the ERP system is designed to streamline and optimize operations across the organization, deliver scalability, and ensure long-term system sustainability.

  • Understands business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determines corresponding enterprise system designs and change requirements to drive the organisation's targeted business outcomes.
  • Understands emerging technology trends and disruptions and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
  • Translates business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work.
  • Analyses the technology industry, competitors and market trends, and determines their potential impact on the enterprise.
  • Leads evaluation, design and analysis for the implementation of a solutions architecture across a group of specific business applications or technologies based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities, value-streams, business requirements and enterprise standards.
  • Oversee the successful implementation of ERP systems, ensuring that solutions meet the needs of multiple departments and integrate seamlessly with existing business systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout the ERP implementation lifecycle, including system architecture, data migration, and system integrations across multiple departments.
  • Develop long-term strategies for ERP system usage, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with organizational growth across different functions.
  • Creates architectural designs to guide and contextualise solution development across products, services, projects and systems (including applications, technologies, processes and information).
  • Creates reference architectures focused on detailed design principles, decision points, detailed APIs, major systems and dependencies between business and IT.
  • Analyses the business-IT environment (run, grow and transform the business) to detect critical deficiencies, legacy and technical debt, and recommends solutions for improvement (systems of record, differentiation and innovation).
  • Designs and directs the governance activities associated with ensuring solutions architecture assurance and compliance.
  • Defines the principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
  • Facilitates the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations.
  • Works closely with the product owners and product managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Provides consulting support to application architects within agile teams to ensure the project or product is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture.
  • Consults with application and infrastructure development projects and products to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture and identify when it is necessary to modify projects to accommodate the solutions architecture.
Must Have
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in IT design and implementation, specializing in ERP, CRM, and SCM systems.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Modules, including architecture, workflow configuration, deployment, and support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in enterprise architecture and IT strategy.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Project Managers for ERP-driven digital transformation.
  • Strong understanding of ERP lifecycles, including "Order to Cash (O2C)," "Record to Report (R2R)," and "Procure to Pay (P2P)" processes.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP integrations, migrations, and cloud solutions (Azure, AWS).
  • Proven ability to drive digital transformation, reducing IT costs and improving operational efficiency.
  • Experience in RFQ and RFP processes, procurement efficiency, and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong background in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies, DevOps, and IT service management (ITSM, ITIL).
  • Ability to design and execute strategic roadmaps for enterprise-wide ERP implementations.
  • Solid understanding of financial models, budgeting, and cost optimization in ERP environments.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong experience in business process optimization, leading to cost reductions and productivity improvements.
  • Competency in delivering high-profile ERP projects across industries such as Oil & Gas, Retail, FMCG, Supply Chain, and Real Estate.
  • Proficient in handling complex change management, documentation (SOW, SLA, FDD), and compliance.

Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
