Akari Care is a leading provider of residential and nursing care services for the elderly across the UK. They are seeking an experienced and qualified Registered Nurse to lead their nursing and residential home in Gateshead as a Home Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a warm and inclusive environment that promotes dignity and independence, while also achieving business results.

Main duties of the job

The Home Manager will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated care professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to residents. They will need to balance the running of a caring and empathetic service with achieving business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Level 5 NVQ in Leadership and Management, be a Registered Nurse with an active NMC certificate, and have experience working in the healthcare sector. They should be driven, motivated, and possess strong leadership and management qualities.

What we need from you?

1. You have a minimum of a Level 5 NVQ Leadership and Management.
2. Be a Registered Nurse and hold an active NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) certificate and PIN.
3. You have experience working in the health care sector.
4. You are driven, motivated and believe in the quality of care.
5. You possess strong leadership and management qualities whilst taking on a dynamic and flexible approach to the role.
