Lead SSL's month-end process, including creating the monthly balance sheet pack, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, and monitoring the progress of associated actions
Liaising with company auditors to facilitate and monitor responses to the SSL audit plan
Managing and coaching a team of 6 and supporting their development
Support the implementation of a new general ledger system to deliver process improvement and enhanced management reporting
Qualifications required:
You will be an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA-qualified accountant
Experience required:
Demonstrable experience financial report in the Insurance industry, preferable within an insurance broker or MGA
Experience and competence in external financial reporting
Line management experience and coaching and mentoring skills
Experience in General Ledger / Finance system implementation, preferable
