Manufacturing Operator - Fluidcare

Tasks

1. Perform a wide range of operational support activities at the site, including controlling the optimal condition of Metal Working lubricants, greases, coolants, cleaners, and other Quaker Houghton industrial fluids used in the customer’s manufacturing process.
2. Analyse on-site equipment & products to decide the proper adjustments, i.e. Servicing of coolant management as required. Communicate the resulting information & recommendations to the customer.
3. Ensure all Quaker Houghton owned and loaned equipment is kept in suitable condition for the environment.
4. Manage and maintain high cleanliness standards and condition monitoring across the customer facility where our products operate.
5. Ensure that machines are tested in line with EHS guidelines and are free from any contamination & debris. Update machine charts for operator visibility and complete test data reports.
6. Comply with all applicable regulations and standards regarding quality, safety, and environmental matters, as well as the Quaker Houghton Lifesaving Rules and occupational health standards to minimize risks and create opportunities for improvement.
7. Perform daily/weekly safety checks of equipment and hazard observations.
8. Work as part of a team and adhere to agreed working schedules.
9. Maintain constant communication with the Commercial team and other stakeholders.

Requirements

1. Preferably has knowledge of working in an Engineering environment.
2. Full training will be provided.

Day shift, 39 hours per week

Mon-Thu 7.00 to 3.00pm and Friday 7.00 - 2.00pm.
