Job description

Hawks HC is a junior only hockey club based at Worth School near Crawley.

In our first season we have grown to ~250 members and achieved great success in In2Hockey and 11-a-side junior hockey competition.

Driven by demand, Hawks HC is running a summer term from the end of April until the end of June, and we require an experienced, inspirational hockey coach to take our skills training session during the week and on Sunday morning.

The format of our summer term will focus on skills development of the Highly Skilled Actions in the GB Talent System Framework.

We are looking for a coach who can translate the core Highly Skilled Actions into fun, engaging practices which young players can take part in and hone their own ability over the summer.

The sessions will be for a mix of abilities of children aged 7-12 and take place on Thursday evening and Sunday morning. We are happy if a coach wishes to own both of these sessions OR either.

If you are interested in bringing your style of coaching to our excellent, fun & inclusive junior hockey club, please write to us to apply for this role.

Please email hello@hawkshockeyclub.org.uk with an overview of your experience and for more information on the summer coach role.
