Software Development Manager - Remote

Halian is currently supporting a multi-national, award-winning organisation looking for a talented and experienced Supply Chain Systems Development Manager to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis.

You will play a pivotal role in influencing key decisions that shape the operations of supply chain systems and drive engineering-led transformations within a complex business area.

Requirements:

1. Robust engineering background with practical experience in modern software engineering practices such as Continuous Delivery, and ideally, familiarity with strategic approaches like Domain Driven Design.
2. Proven senior leadership experience, overseeing multiple teams, collaborating with senior stakeholders, and influencing substantial engineering investments worth millions of pounds.
3. Expertise in working with diverse architectural styles (e.g., monolithic, service-based, microservices) and integration patterns across various platforms (e.g., broker models, RESTful APIs, streaming, event-driven architectures).
4. Strong knowledge and experience in implementing techniques that enhance system resilience and scalability.
5. Experience applying principles from Lean and Systems Thinking to engineering practices.
6. Experience in the technical implementation of packaged solutions in complex environments.
7. Desirable: experience in Supply Chain or Retail industries.
8. Desirable: experience working with legacy systems.

Location: South East/Remote.

Salary: up to £125,000 depending on experience.
