Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

Vehicle Technician / Service Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester needed in the Worthing area. Working within a great team, this really is a unique opportunity within a family business!

Salary circa 33k – 40k OTE.

Hours are:

1. 8-5 (with lunch) or 8-4 (work through lunch)
2. 1 in 3 Sat which is 8-12

As a Vehicle Technician / Service Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester, you’ll be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and service of the full range of vehicles. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring vehicle parts are handled and stored appropriately. Additionally, you’ll play your part in ensuring that customers receive great service, from start to finish.

• Experience working in a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester position
• Any level of experience including independent / main dealer / fast fit
• Full UK Driving licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Focus on continued development by adapting and learning as needed
• Health and safety conscious
• Completion of an Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent BTEC or City & Guilds qualifications

Additional information:

Good rates of pay, depending on skill level. Monthly individual bonus and service team target achievement bonus. 22 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays. 40 hours per week plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis (usually 1 in 3). Overtime paid at a time and a third. Also flexible working hours. Over the last 12 months, all Technicians received an individual bonus and also the team hit target bonus.
