Senior Contracts Manager - Project Delivery (VA202)

• Provide leadership and direction to the Contracts Management Team
• Take responsibility for the delivery of high value projects
• Ensure the alignment of the projects and the project team with MJM strategic objectives
• Support Contract Directors in recruitment activities
• Train and mentor members of the Contracts Management Team
• Have a full knowledge of all contractual terms
• Ensure correct manpower is allocated to contracts
• Ensure that all travel and logistical arrangements are made for on time delivery
• Identify the appropriate subcontractors as required
• Assist in the production of a realistic programme for contract delivery and ensure that the programme is adhered to by all relevant personnel
• Take responsibility for the overall health and safety requirements involved in delivering the contract
• Undertake extensive worldwide travel in accordance with the role's commercial functionality which will involve working for periods of time on sites throughout the world

The Ideal Person will have:

• At least 5 years previous experience working in a Senior Contracts Manager role for a fit-out company.
• A proven track record of running multiple marine projects at any one time
• Ability to work on own initiative with direct experience of troubleshooting to ensure the successful completion of a project
• Excellent communication, negotiating, influencing, analytical, problem solving, planning and organising skills

It would be beneficial but not essential to have previous experience working in a similar role on marine fit-out projects.
