Duchy of Cornwall - Bath and Northeast Somerset - Property Transactions Adviser

This new appointment within the Duchy of Cornwall will serve as a key link between the instructing Chartered Surveyors and the external Duchy Solicitor with a focus on managing and progressing complex property transactions across the diverse Duchy of Cornwall Estate portfolio.

The Duchy estate spans over 52,000 hectares across 20 counties in England and Wales. The Property Transactions Adviser will work at pace on transactions involving the purchase, sale and leasing of rural, commercial and residential properties, as well as supporting colleagues on areas such as landlord and tenant, work on renewables and the carbon reduction programme.

This role requires strong multitasking skills to manage numerous transactions simultaneously, keeping deals moving forward while providing expert advice. Excellent communication skills are essential for engaging with colleagues and stakeholders and taking the lead on projects. While primarily desk-based, the position also involves attending occasional meetings, site visits, and other Duchy offices.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Chartered Surveyor, with experience in land agency and commercial property matters. Knowledge of landlord and tenant in relation to rural, commercial, and residential properties is essential.
