Job description

Creating original and innovative luxury soft toys, Jellycat combines luxurious fabrics with quirky and cute designs and sells its products online and via stockists throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

For a quarter of a century, the Jellycat family have brought joy, wonder and playful fun to people of all ages, in every part of the world. Utterly original and in a class of their own, they are currently among the most loved and collected toys of their kind. How has this gentle tribe endeared themselves to so many? Perhaps it is their whimsical expressions. Or the deliciously soft fabrics. Or the beautiful way in which they sit in your hand. Whatever it is, there is something magical and unmistakeable about each one of them.

Work with the Head of Ecommerce to develop a trading strategy & calendar which ensures that the commercial objectives are delivered to our localised French website. Contribute to the weekly trade plan and campaigns, and create an optimised localised experience.

You'll be;

  • Executing a local trading strategy that delivers online growth in line with business objectives and budgets for each region.
  • Ensuring content and campaigns meet the needs of the local strategy.
  • Actioning regular updates to the website to provide customers with relevant content and a reason to return to the site on a regular basis (in line with the trading calendar).
  • Working collaboratively to improve processes and communication flows across the wider team.
  • Ensuring that thedigital marketing team are fully briefed on localised commercial priorities working with them to maximise traffic driving opportunities.
  • Understanding customer journeys and where they come from using insights from Digital Marketing and analytics. Use these insights to improve onsite experience.
  • Optimising on site merchandising including navigation, product hierarchies, product pages, landing pages, search results and the customer journey to maximise sales.
  • Being the point of contact for any local market initiatives.
  • Producing weekly trade reports and work with Head of Ecommerce to adjust strategies and activities as needed to reach sales targets. Preparing ad-hoc analysis as required.
  • Working with operational teams to ensure customers receive the best possible experience shopping with jellycat.com.
  • Proposing, and where required, action any changes required to improve customer experience looking at all onsite experiences from landing pages to content pages.
  • Supporting the wider team with localisation of translated site – e.g. product descriptions, content pages, emails.

You'll have;

  • Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken.
  • Experience in a trading role.
  • The ability to think ahead, work collaboratively and make things happen as well as multi-task.
  • The ability to work alongside the global team to identify core trends & use to drive opportunities.
  • To regularly check competitors’ websites to ensure jellycat.com stays competitive and highlight any best practice or new features and trends.
  • A can do attitude, good organization skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills and a team player mentality.
  • Experience with understanding and using data in Google Analytics (specifically GA4).
