Now, we're on the lookout for a Social Creative to join our Creative & Innovation, Europe team on a 12 month maternity cover basis initially.

The Opportunity

As a Social Creative you will be responsible for shipping exceptional social-first creative content and campaign creative for our clients. You will manage the full creative process; from ideation to delivery of creative and proactive campaigns which could be both organic and paid and include influencers and external partners.

You will ensure all creative work meets our client’s briefs, objectives and help reach their KPIs. You’ll ideate content within a variety of mediums as best suited to the brief and audience, including stills, videos, Creators, GIFs, augmented reality, virtual reality, AI and other emerging formats.

You will also work closely with multiple internal functions including Client Services, Strategy, Social Media Management, Engagement and Production to bring ideas to life from ideation to completion.

You will plan, ideate, create and execute exceptional social creative campaigns and content that have the opportunity to bring Social Element and our clients well deserved fame by doing the following:

  • Understand client’s objectives and goals for its wider social content strategy, and apply it effectively to creative campaigns across organic and paid.
  • Day to day management and deliverables for content creation for our clients, sometimes on their own and sometimes in collaboration with a Producer.
  • Understand key data insights to constantly improve content output, and provide recommendations to feed into the content strategy.
  • Mentor junior team member(s), review and support their creative work and support their growth.
  • Lead creative content ideas in pitches.
  • Provide ad-hoc copywriting when needed across business, clients and pitches.
  • Work with SMMs and Strategists to feed into monthly and quarterly reports for our clients.
  • Create wrap-up decks internally and externally during and after projects are complete to share learnings with our teams and our clients.
  • When needed, manage the creation of case study decks and videos.
  • Support Social Element marketing team with creative ideation, creative strategy and creation of assets.
  • Offer creative thought leadership both internally and externally.
  • Ensure that DE&I is baked into everything we do and champion this within creativity in the agency.
About You

As a seasoned Social Creative with extensive experience in the advertising, marketing or communications industry, you are a hands-on creative who turns strong strategic thinking into ideation. You have your finger on the pulse of culture, social-first and people-first ideas that truly create unmissable, impactful social moments for audiences: both online and IRL.

  • Creative drive and have a strong work ethic with a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
  • A big picture thinker who is adept in creating tactical, always-on ideas.
  • A self-starter with adaptability to work in a fast-paced growing environment.
  • Confident in presenting ideas to clients and internal stakeholders. Excitement to learn and collaborate with internal team members.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience as a Social Creative, preferably from an agency background.
  • Confident in pitching ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in producing content at scale.
  • A thorough understanding of the evolving social media landscape, with a continuous thirst to learn more.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and support change.
  • A joyful collaborator and solution orientated.
  • Ability to set clear objectives, timelines and deadlines for own work.
  • Basic creation skills in CapCut and other mobile editing.
  • Optional skills in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Firefly, Premiere and AI image generation.
