What we're looking for:

The successful candidate will serve as an experienced, dedicated B2B writer with responsibility for developing content and ensuring overall quality control of the team’s content library. The ideal candidate will come from a SaaS background and will understand how to engage and support the SaaS buying journey. They will also have knowledge of talent acquisition and workforce planning market. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in a growing company.

As the Content Writer, you will:

  1. Manage and produce Horsefly Analytics’ content, including search-optimized articles, lead-generating guides, social media copy, and engaging product value propositions and explainers.
  2. Ensure all content is created to the highest standard. You’ll be a stickler for grammar, spelling, and sentence structure while ensuring the Horsefly brand is represented to the highest standard.
  3. Update our existing library of SEO content, being familiar with both SEO tools and approaches.
  4. Demonstrate a solid understanding of personas, funnel marketing, crafting copy that is optimized for all channels including both digital and print.
  5. Build a strong understanding of our technical product and highlight feature, function, and value within the content.
  6. Collaborate with CMO and our agency partner to support our goals.
  7. Help shape the future of our written content with regular ideas for improvement.

Your profile:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related experience in lieu of degree required.
  2. Native/Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. 4+ years’ experience in content writing either in FT position or Freelance.
  4. Ability to write and edit in American English and British English.
  5. High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
  6. Exceptional attention to detail.
  7. Team player, who is honest, transparent, and accountable for their work.
  8. Strong work ethic, transparency, and accountability.
  9. Proactive attitude and ability to take the initiative.

This role is remote. Seeking candidates based in the US or UK.
