DESCRIPTION

The Senior Retailer Paid Search Executive will be responsible for ensuring products are discoverable and relevant to consumer search queries on retailer websites. This role will focus on optimizing paid search campaigns across retail media platforms to drive product visibility, increase sales, and maximize efficiency. You will be hands-on with campaign management on the retailer platforms, including keyword research, and paid search optimization to deliver impactful results for our brands.

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES

Paid Search Campaign Optimization

  • Lead hands-on paid search campaign management, including keyword research, ad copy testing, and bid adjustments to maximize product visibility and sales.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns by analyzing data and making adjustments to improve performance across retail media platforms (e.g., Boots Media, Amazon, etc.).
  • Ensure products are optimized for consumer search queries to drive higher engagement and conversions.

Keyword Research & On-Page Optimization

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-value keywords for retail environments.
  • Implement on-page optimizations, including product page content, metadata, and page load times, to improve visibility and search ranking.
  • Develop and execute keyword optimization strategies that align with brand goals and retailer algorithms.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse performance data, track KPIs, and report findings to internal stakeholders, including insights into campaign performance and retailer algorithms.
  • Provide recommendations for future campaign optimizations and identify areas to improve campaign efficiency.
  • Manage budgets to meet contractual requirements and performance objectives, ensuring optimal return on investment (ROI).

Collaboration & Strategy Development

  • Work closely with brand marketing, e-commerce, and digital teams to align paid search campaigns with broader business objectives.
  • Lead experimentation efforts (A/B testing) and apply data-driven strategies to refine paid search practices and test new opportunities for growth.

PROJECTS / WORK YOU WILL BE PART OF

  • Optimize paid search strategies for key retail platforms, driving product visibility and maximizing sales.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align paid search efforts with overall brand & retail strategies.
  • Lead testing & optimization of strategies, continuously refining paid search tactics to improve campaign results.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • 2-3+ years of experience in performance marketing, specifically in paid search (SEM), with hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns.
  • Expertise in retail media networks (e.g. Boots, Amazon) and experience managing campaigns on these platforms.
  • Proven ability to conduct keyword research, optimize product pages, and manage paid search campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills to derive insights from data, with the ability to report and act on performance data.
  • Familiarity with presenting paid search information to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple campaigns across various brands and retailers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results.
