Role: Ocean Export Operator

Location: Tamworth, Birmingham

• 20 days holiday, rising to 25 days on 1 year completion

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completion of Ocean Export Operations from Start to Finish
• Quoting and Pricing, ensuring best rates are secured
• Liaising with shippers, hauliers, carriers
• Key account management - responsible for managing accounts from booking to deliveries
• Arranging for the timely and accurate documentation of shipments
• Completing custom documentations
• Creating and maintaining strong relationship with clients, ensuring all inquiries are dealt with

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience working with a leading freight forwarder
• Export experience is mandatory
• Awareness of all aspects of shipment process from Start to Finish
• Can collaborate with the customer to provide the best service available
• Able to reach all deadlines within the time constraints provided
• Confident and effective communication skills (verbal and via email), with the ability to build relationships with customers
