Tax Specialist

We are actively recruiting a knowledgeable and dedicated Tax Specialist to join a thriving, modern accountancy practice based in Central London. This is a great opportunity for a CTA qualified tax professional to join a firm where client and employee happiness is equally paramount.

Main duties will include:

• Handle the compliance aspects of client affairs, with a focus on personal tax affairs.
• Provide a range of advisory services that include personal tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trusts.
• Deliver proactive tax planning and advisory services to help clients optimise their tax positions.
• Research complex tax issues and provide practical, solutions-focused advice.
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, resolving enquiries and disputes efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest tax legislation to ensure compliance for all clients.

What you bring to the table:

• CTA qualified with experience working in a UK accounting firm.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting and tax software.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage several projects at any one time.
• Strong initiative and solution-based thinking.
• Flexible, personable, and diplomatic in your approach.
• Experience looking after a portfolio of legal clients is advantageous but not mandatory.

Salary: up to £70,000 - please note this is the full-time equivalent salary.

Remote - UK based.

Part time - up to 20 hours.
