Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday- Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4.30pm, working 1 in 2 Saturdays on a rota basis

Basic Salary: OTE up to £35,600 plus opportunity to earn additional bonus with an uncapped bonus! Extra £2,000 for EV Qualification.

Due to expansion, we are recruiting for a MOT Tester to join our fantastic workshop. While working alongside our other experienced technicians, you will play a vital role, carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and carrying out any additional repairs.

1. Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
2. Conducting MOTs in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines and customer requests
3. Carrying out any additional repairs once authorised by the customer
4. Taking the customer's vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified
5. Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a mechanic. You'll be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn, while being able to work to the highest standards. You will require a full UK driving licence and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.

Having previous experience of working with the Volvo brand would be advantageous, although not essential as full brand accreditation training can be provided. A MOT licence is essential for this role.
