Job Description

Join our Testing Center of Excellence (CoE) team, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring a strong and consistent control environment across the firm. This is a unique opportunity to work with a large Controls Testing team and help establish a newly formed organization, providing a solid starting point within the firm.

As a Business Manager in the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE), you will be responsible for maintaining the TCoE Inter-Affiliate Service (IAS) Charters, the framework used for managing outsourcing arrangements between JPMorgan legal entities. You will drive consistency in approach, collaborate with global colleagues to meet local outsourcing requirements, and ensure compliance with JPMorgan Policies and Standards. Your role will also involve supporting Regulatory Exams and Audits impacting TCoE, preparing reports, and assisting TCoE management. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with TCoE leadership, Compliance colleagues, and other key partners globally. Adaptability and a sense of urgency are essential in this dynamic and unstructured environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development and maintenance of TCoE's IAS Charters globally, ensuring accurate legal entity coverage and completion of periodic scorecards and reporting.
  2. Maintain evidence of decisions/approvals related to IAS Charters and ensure required changes are executed.
  3. Respond to audit/exam/review requests for information related to TCoE outsourcing and the broader TCoE function, collaborating with senior leadership on sensitive responses.
  4. Perform periodic evaluations of TCoE's IAS controls, assessing control design and execution, and highlighting areas for improvement.
  5. Support adherence to Firmwide processes intersecting with IAS, such as Business Resiliency, TCoE Location Strategy, Finance, Systems Access/User Tools, and Data Privacy.
  6. Adapt day-to-day responsibilities to meet the strategic needs of the team.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in Banking, within a Control Management, Project Management, Compliance, or Risk role.
  2. Understanding of outsourcing and appreciation of varying local requirements.
  3. Knowledge of the JPMorgan legal entity structure.
  4. Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with all colleagues, including management.
  5. Adaptability to change.
  6. Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  7. Strong understanding of control processes.
  8. Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  1. Knowledge of Control Testing or Quality Assurance techniques preferred.
