* Permanent day shift

* Hours of work 08:00 am to 16:30 pm, Monday to Friday

* MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Durham area.

The Job You'll Do:

* Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Working on various items of furniture.

* Cutting and prepping a range of materials.

* Manually picking materials from stores.

* Colour matching threads and ribbon.

* Wrapping completed products into packaging ready for dispatch.

* Completing visual quality inspection and completing quality assurance paperwork.

* Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.

* General housekeeping duties and following specific standard operations while adhering to social distancing requirements.

About You:

* Experience working as an upholsterer in the past.

* Methodical with the ability to prioritise workload.

* Good communication and listening skills.

* Ability to motivate the team to meet KPIs.

* Ability to work to deadlines.

* Ability to remain calm under pressure.

* Problem-solving skills.

* A good accuracy level is essential.

* Good numeracy and literacy skills.

* Ability to work alone or as part of a team as required.
