Job Purpose

Working as a part of the global Sales Operations team, Operations Analyst will demonstrate integrity and excellence in the provision of support to the Commercial organisation.

The Operations Analyst role will primarily revolve around the calculation, administration and communication of the commission and bonus plans for the global Commercial organisation and will work closely with other departments such as Sales and Finance to ensure that all activities are completed to a high degree of accuracy. The role will also have involvement in ongoing Commercial reporting requirements as well as helping to maintain dashboards on our BI system (Sisense). The team has a reputation for high standards and high-quality data provision, and this reputation needs to be maintained at all times.

The Operations Analyst is expected to continually evaluate the tasks they undertake and to look for opportunities to improve existing processes. The Junior Operations Analyst will be expected to work as a member of the wider Sales Operations team to implement new ideas and initiatives that support the efficiency of the Commercial organisation.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  1. Calculate regular commission and bonus payments and work to strict deadlines to ensure that payments are submitted to payroll on time for processing.
  2. Communicate targets and compensation statements in a timely manner.
  3. Manage and respond to queries promptly and professionally.
  4. Production and collation of all compensation related documentation.
  5. Prepare and maintain dashboards and reporting in various platforms.
  6. Ensure the integrity and consistency of corporate data.
  7. Prepare and distribute various reporting across the Commercial organization.
  8. Review team processes and own work methods with a view to improve efficiency and effectiveness of allocated tasks.
  9. Create and maintain strong relationships within the Commercial organisation and across the business.

Skills & Experience

  1. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  2. Accuracy in calculations, reporting, and documentation.
  3. Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, to convey information and collaborate with team members.
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  5. Proactive approach to identifying issues and finding solutions.
  6. Familiarity with data management tools, spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), and Business Intelligence (BI) systems.
