Salary: GBP30,000 per annum + benefits
Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 1pm 10pm

Are you an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading distributor of steel fixtures and fittings, is seeking a skilled professional to join their dynamic team near High Wycombe.

Due to the location and the shift timings, your own transport will be essential as public transport options are not available at these hours.

About the Role: As Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing up to 20 staff members on shift, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. Acting as the right-hand to the Warehouse Manager, you’ll lead by example and take full responsibility for the team in the manager’s absence. Your goal is to ensure the warehouse operates at optimal levels while maintaining high standards of health and safety, customer service, and stock accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and oversee the warehouse operations, reporting directly to the Warehouse Management team.
2. Ensure goods receipt processes are timely and organised, adhering to best practices.
3. Maintain accurate stock records in alignment with KPIs using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
4. Lead by example, ensuring compliance with HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) regulations.
5. Drive exceptional customer service by addressing issues promptly and proactively.
6. Contribute to recruitment processes, maintaining values-based hiring standards.
7. Support the continuous improvement of operations, including implementation of 5S methodologies where applicable.

About You

1. Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor is essential.
2. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (Sage 200 knowledge is a plus).
3. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
4. A forklift license and knowledge of 5S methodologies are advantageous but not essential.
5. Energetic, punctual, and results-driven, with a professional and growth-oriented mindset.
