Job Description

The Legal Counsel will be:

  1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and BAU agreements.
  2. Advising on substation leases, statutory agreements, and regulatory matters.
  3. Providing legal support to the General Counsel in finance and construction contracts.
  4. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and managing risk across business operations.
  5. Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders supporting their legal needs.

The Successful Applicant

The Legal Counsel should be:

  1. A solicitor (or equivalent) with 2-6 years PQE in commercial law.
  2. Experienced in general commercial contracts, corporate transactions, or regulatory agreements.
  3. Skilled in contract negotiation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  4. Familiar with construction, finance, or infrastructure projects (preferred but not essential).
