Job description

Berry Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a dynamic and rapidly growing company in Warwick to find a skilled Aviation Technician with specialised knowledge of the APU131-9. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking team and play a key role in the company's continued growth.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00 (40 hours per week)
Annual Leave: 22 days + bank holidays

Responsibilities:
  • Work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate self-motivation.
  • Maintain a strong focus on attention to detail and quality.
  • Possess good hand skills and familiarity with tooling.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals and instructions with ease.
  • Understand the proper use of tools and follow safety protocols.
  • Exhibit responsibility and conscientiousness in all tasks.
  • Show eagerness to progress, with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Ask for clarification when instructions are unclear or need repetition.
  • Be willing to perform repetitive tasks as part of the training program.
  • Pass the N9 eye test standard (with or without prescription eyewear).
  • Maintain physical fitness to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • To strip, overhaul and repair an APU131-9.
Requirements:
  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship qualification.
  • Ability to adhere to Health and Safety regulations and requirements.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.
  • Experience within the aviation or motor industry is essential.
  • Previous experience with gas turbine engine repair in a shop environment.
  • Willingness to travel away from the base location when required.
  • Must have experience with APU131-9 engine.
