Qualifications

  • No prior tutor/trainer experience is necessary as training will be provided.

Location: FY2, Blackpool

Job Title:Engineering Hand Skills Trainer

Pay and working hours:

  • Per hour/Salary: 32,000 - 38,262
  • Working hours: 37
  • 6000 government grant if applying from Engineering industry

Experience Needed:

You would need at least 5 years experience working within the Engineering/ Machining industry. You do not need any tutor/ trainer experience as full training will be provided if successful.

Desired Qualifications:

HNC/ D

Level 3

Teacher Qualification (desirable)

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging practical and theoretical training sessions across apprenticeship and FE pathways.
  • Designing and developing innovative training materials, including online resources, ensuring effective employer engagement and skill development.
  • Providing high-quality assessment, feedback, and evaluation to drive continuous improvement.
  • Supporting curriculum development, quality assurance, and student success initiatives.
  • Contributing to student recruitment through interviews, open days, and industry events.
