Who we are
So Energy was created in 2015 because we knew energy suppliers could be better. Since then, we’ve grown rapidly but sustainably, with 350,000 customers and over 450 Energists (what we call our people). But we’re not done. We’re on the road to a net zero future, and thanks to our partnership with ESB, we’re well on the way. We’re customer-centric, tech-led, and passionate about sustainability.

Reporting into our Head of People Partnering, Lucy??. Our People (HR) Business Partners support business functions with all people related matters in an approach that is consistent and in line with our values. The People Business Partners are passionate about creating a great employee experience, are the face of the People Team for our Energists, and are approachable, clear and honest. Our people partners are on the ground with our teams, understanding the commercial challenges being faced and supporting with a people lens to ensure we are performing as an organisation and putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.
As a People Business Partner at So Energy you will become a Subject Matter Expert in the business units you partner with, in this instance our contact centre, customer experience and the resourcing team. You will provide consultative advice to their leadership teams, be involved and engaged in their team discussions, acting as an agent of change, and coach on any employee relations matters.
