The Project Coordinator’s Role

A leading project management company specialising in the healthcare sector is seeking a Project Coordinator to support their experienced project management teams. The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the Project Director and Senior Project Managers in the successful delivery of projects. Acting as the first point of contact, the Project Coordinator will ensure effective communication between stakeholders, assist with project applications, and maintain accurate project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the first point of contact and providing project status updates to stakeholders after referral to the Project Director.
  • Supporting the Project Director and Senior Project Managers as required.
  • Assisting with various project applications as part of the project management team.
  • Ensuring action points from meetings are addressed before deadlines.
  • Administering the company’s document control systems.
  • Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems for project records.
  • Attending meetings on-site or at external offices as required.
  • Organising and booking meetings, preparing relevant documentation, and providing pre-meeting updates.
  • Taking meeting minutes and summarising key action points.
  • Monitoring project progress and managing incoming communications.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a project coordination or administrative role.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in document control and project management systems.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or construction project management is desirable.
