Join Our Team as a Senior Marketing Sourcing Manager!

Location: Bristol / Halifax / Leeds / Edinburgh
Contract Length: 12 Months
Salary: £94,000 pa plus extensive benefits
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping sourcing strategies for a global leader in financial technology? Our client powers businesses of all sizes, helping them make, take, and manage payments in over 146 countries. They are on the lookout for a passionate Senior Marketing Sourcing Manager to join their dynamic team!

What You'll Do:

1. Lead & Direct: Oversee a category-led strategic sourcing function, crafting optimal sourcing strategies across marketing categories.
2. Drive Strategy: Collaborate with teams to develop innovative sourcing strategies that leverage the organisation's purchasing power.
3. Build Relationships: Engage with key stakeholders and suppliers to deliver best-in-class sourcing practices.
4. Enhance Operations: Develop medium-term operational plans while considering governance and regulatory contexts.
5. Mentor & Inspire: Lead and coach team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Contribute to strategic direction by developing and executing category strategies.
2. Maximise buying power through innovative thinking and market offerings.
3. Promote the sourcing process and build advocacy among Executive stakeholders.
4. Identify opportunities for change to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

1. Proven experience in a similar marketing sourcing role.
2. Knowledge of SAP Ariba.
3. Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
4. Experience in peer mentoring and project management.
5. Excellent attention to detail and prioritisation skills.
6. Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply qualification is a plus.
7. Previous finance sector experience is advantageous.

Working Environment:

Hybrid working model: 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.
Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional flexibility for deadlines.
