Regional Director of Education - Specialist Schools

Location: London and Surrounding Areas

Salary: £90,000 + Car Allowance + Annual Bonus

Are you an inspiring and experienced leader in education, ready to make a significant impact on the lives of students and the performance of Specialist Schools?

I am working with a leading provider of Children's Specialist Education to recruit a Regional Director of Education. This is a pivotal role where you will support and enhance the overall performance, development, and effectiveness of schools across your region. You will play a strategic part in driving improvements in education standards, outcomes, and provisions for all students, as well as ensuring the delivery of operational and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and support school improvement strategies to achieve outstanding educational outcomes.
  2. Drive the growth and development of new schools and services in alignment with organisational strategic priorities.
  3. Set challenging targets and monitor performance to ensure the highest standards of education.
  4. Deliver successful change management projects across a diverse and dynamic organisation.
  5. Lead and collaborate with teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  6. Oversee strategic planning and financial management across multiple schools and regions.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
  2. NPQH or Equivalent Leadership Qualification - Desirable
  3. Proven track record of delivering commercial and quality KPIs and implementing successful change management projects at scale.
  4. Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior leadership role (e.g., Director, Headteacher) within a specialist education setting.
  5. Expertise in managing educational projects, strategic operations, and budgets across multiple schools or regions.
