Job description

Role - Assembly Production Technician position
Location - Based close to Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Working hours - 6am - 2.30pm / 2.30pm - 10pm or on a shift pattern basis
Capacity of role - Permanent position
Salary - Between £25,000 - £35,000 per annum + an attractive shift premium.


Our established and respected client is currently recruiting for an Assembly Production Technician to join their team. This opportunity offers comprehensive and extensive training for the right calibre of candidate whilst boasting the opportunity to join a team who prides themselves in investing in their workforce.


Candidates will need to have worked in a similar position previously and will have solid hands-on mechanical or production assembly based skills.


Main duties will include:
  1. Assisting the department in the smooth running of the machinery and process.
  2. Offering continuous improvement techniques for the team.
  3. Providing assistance and offering support for all team members.
  4. Being flexible for technician cover once trained, on a rotational basis.
  5. Maintaining onsite machinery.

Candidate attributes:
  1. At least 3 years' experience working with mechanical based systems or within a production assembly environment.
  2. Will have worked with ISO9001 practices previously.
  3. Self-motivated and flexible to working patterns.
  4. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
