Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager (various positions available)

Deacon and Jones LLP are a private Quantity Surveying and Project Management Practice who provide services to most construction sectors throughout the UK and across Europe. Services provided also include Employers Agent, Contract Administration, Fund Monitoring and Dispute Resolution.

We currently have a number of exciting opportunities available for personable, enthusiastic, and motivated Quantity Surveyors to support our continuing growth and help make a difference to both our business, our Clients' businesses, and Client relationships.

Senior QS and PM positions are available in our Central London office and Bolton office.

The role would be Client facing and cover a varied range of projects from different sectors. Excellent long-term career progression opportunities are available for the right candidate.

Candidates are likely to be BSc and MRICS qualified (or equivalent).

Working knowledge of JCT standard contract forms required, plus some knowledge of other forms e.g., NEC.

Ability for QS candidates to demonstrate previous experience with PM role, EA role, CA role: would be beneficial.

Candidates should have the ability to work on their own initiative and independently but also collaboratively with the wider Team and Partners.

Reporting directly into Partners.

Good communication and IT skills are required. Ability for QS candidates to use CATO or similar electronic measuring tools is beneficial.

Work from our London office will generally be for projects located throughout London – with some travel beyond this location occasionally.

Flexible working arrangements: part office-based, part home working can be considered.
