Job description

Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits

Due to recently won contracts in the South East, our client is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to service a mixed portfolio of sites. Applicants must have proven experience undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic systems as a minimum, but it would be beneficial to have knowledge with process systems also (such as cooling towers). They are offering competitive salaries and packages, including the use of a company vehicle and overtime opportunities.

Experience / Qualifications:

  1. Must have experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
  2. Qualified with the City & Guilds WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing
  3. Well-versed in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  4. Ideally will have some hands-on experience as a water hygiene engineer
  5. Plumbing experience would be beneficial but not essential
  6. Good literacy and IT skills

The Role:

  1. Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold systems
  2. Completing ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
  3. Writing detailed risk assessment reports to document identified risks and recommended actions
  4. Producing schematic drawings to accompany reports
  5. Arriving on-time to client sites and representing the company in a professional manner
  6. Working across a range of commercial, local authority, education and public sector sites

Future Select are recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry. We would be interested in speaking to candidates with experience in any disciplines from Risk Assessors, Service Engineers, Account Managers and Business Development/Operational Managers through to Director level.
