Robotics Programmer

Are you an experienced Programmer of robotic machinery?

VANRATH are looking for a Robotics Programmer to provide specialist support on new assemblies as part of our client's manufacturing team.

Package:
£14.50ph to £15.50ph DOE
Additional Benefits
40 Hour working week

Client
Our client has been in operations for over 20 years, providing revolutionary, high-quality units to a variety of industries. With a large manufacturing operation and top-class fabrication team, they produce a range of products with bespoke functions. Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop programs for new assemblies using offline CAD DTPS software.
  2. Fault finding and fault resolution.
  3. Involved in testing of new products.
  4. Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for build processes and troubleshooting guides.
  5. Hands-on with the factory floor assisting builds with operators to develop knowledge of the product range.
  6. Reviewing current programs to remove bugs and calculate cycle times.
  7. Building reports.
  8. Involved in Lean/5S projects.

The Ideal Person:

  1. Third level qualification in Engineering or similar.
  2. 1+ year's experience programming robotic machinery.
  3. Experience working with robotic welders would be a distinct advantage.
