Economics Teacher - Lead Practitioner

Job Description

An 'Outstanding' Secondary School in Ealing, W London is on the hunt for a Maths Teacher for September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time contract with TLR opportunities available. The school is known for good behaviour, low staff turnover, and a fantastic staff culture. The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Maths Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding Maths Department.

Early Career Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled onto the school's bespoke NQT induction and will work alongside a range of young and experienced Maths Teachers.

Responsibilities

1. Working alongside a team of 7 Maths Teachers
2. TLR Opportunities: KS3 Coordinator, 2iC, and Pastoral Responsibilities
3. 1:1 Mentor for ECTs, bespoke ECT induction, and training opportunities

Qualifications

1. Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it
2. Strong academic background: Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
3. Must meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
4. Ability to work as part of a large team of Maths Teachers
