Ecommerce Warehouse Operative - WEEKENDS

About The Role

The E-Commerce Warehouse Operative is responsible for ensuring that the company's online orders are efficiently and accurately processed, from picking and packing to shipping. They will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, handling the logistics of order fulfillment, stock management, and ensuring that products are dispatched on time to meet customer expectations.

Weekend Shifts

• Saturday 8am to 4pm
• Sunday 8am to 4pm

About You

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment:
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently according to order specifications.
  • Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling for delivery.
  • Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
• Stock Management:
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring that stock is correctly stored and organized.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment.
• Dispatch and Shipping:
  • Prepare shipping labels and dispatch orders using the company’s courier systems.
  • Ensure all orders are dispatched on time, meeting the required delivery schedules.
  • Liaise with couriers to resolve any shipping issues or delays.
• Warehouse Operations:
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trolleys (if required).
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties, including housekeeping, organizing inventory, and stock replenishment.
• Data Entry and Reporting:
  • Accurately record stock levels and transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software.
  • Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages to the warehouse manager.

Key Skills And Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
• Forklift certification (preferred but not essential).
