We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an eCommerce Project Manager to join a very successful, international eCommerce company with an extensive, specialist product range that is available on all digital shopping platforms across the world.
Language requirements for the job:
Fluency in English is essential. Any 2nd language fluency is an advantage but not essential.
Location of the job:
Hybrid role, office & remote. Office location is the town of Harlow, Essex (30 minutes NE of London). 4 days a week in the office, 1 day remote (after probation).

Job responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Project manage the ongoing development of the ecommerce websites.
- Be responsible for spearheading the migration from existing platforms to new platforms when required, or the introduction of new platforms/tools/solutions.
- Write detailed progress reports on outstanding projects and lead retrospective activities in the aftermath of a code deployment to constantly improve the development workflow.
- Coordinate and drive project reviews.
- Oversee the creation of projects and tickets.
- Ensure the web development team has all the information required to work on and progress projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead project meetings to ensure key milestones and deadlines are met.
- Understand the scope and requirements of all projects on the development roadmap.
- Manage the investigation and fixing of web-related issues.
The successful candidate background:
- Fluency in English is essential. Any 2nd language fluency is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Experience in a web development environment, either as a project manager, developer, technical analyst or other.
- Experience of Magento 2 or other Ecommerce platforms.
- Experience managing or working with 3rd party development agencies.
- Strong communication skills; able to talk with both business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating discussion and negotiation.
- Good technical knowledge of how the internet works as a whole, and also of the components of a website and a webpage and how these components interact.
- Good understanding of the delivery lifecycle and governance process with the ability to identify and manage issues.
- Understanding of website programming software and languages.
- YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN CAR/TRANSPORT TO TRAVEL TO THE OFFICE - ESSENTIAL.
Salary, benefits and working hours:
up to £45,000. Mon – Fri 8.15am – 4.45 pm. Holidays: 23 days + bank holidays. 4 days office based, 1 day per week remote/wfh.
