Ecommerce Packers

Exciting opportunity to work in a museum in central London, must be able to travel to South Kensington. You must be available to start ASAP - this position lasts until 31st December 2024.

Hours: 07.45 to 16.00, working 5 out of 7 days including weekends. First Day Only 09.00

1 full weekend in 4 with two days' rest before the weekend and one rota'd day off after the weekend.

Breaks: 15 Mins Morning Tea - 1 hour Lunch Break (unpaid).

Warehouse Operative - Ecommerce Picker Packer

This person needs to be a fully capable warehouse professional with extensive experience in multi-SKU multi-line picking, along with a strong attention to detail. Experience working in a Goods In area is secondary (this is not the main role), but they require warehouse multi-line order picking experience - Essential. Responsibilities include:

• Multi SKU Order Picking, unpacking orders, unloading (processing) from pallets, pricing, and ensuring put away KPI's are met.
• Experience in Multi Line (SKU) Order Picking for our web store, picking and packing stock to meet the daily collection of goods by DHL & Royal Mail with attention to detail to cut down order discrepancies.
• Report instances of inventory and location variance to warehouse manager or assistant managers.
• Communicate internally with Museum Colleagues for different departments, reflecting Museum values and customer service standards.
• Comply with the Museum's Health and Safety and Fire Safety policies and procedures and with the HASAW act at all times. Report any health and safety or facilities concerns to the Warehouse Manager in a timely fashion.

Person Specification

1. Minimum of two GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) in English & Mathematics.
2. Familiarity with Cybertill, Ecommerce systems Magento & Shiptheory or similar Stock Management is preferred.
3. Experience of working in a busy commercial warehouse web order picking environment.
4. Good communication skills - Telephone and E-mail.
5. Passionate about customer service.
6. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Outlook, and Excel).
7. A practical understanding of Health and Safety within a fast-moving warehouse environment is desirable.
8. Able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
