Ecommerce Marketing Assistant

Reporting to: Marketing Manager & Ecommerce Sales Manager

Job Overview

As an Ecommerce Marketing Assistant at Tippers, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimising our online product offering. You will be responsible for ensuring product listings are accurate, engaging, and fully optimised for SEO. Your work will contribute to improving the customer journey, driving online sales, and enhancing the visibility of our ecommerce platform.

You will be joining a growing marketing department at an exciting time for the business, with opportunities to develop your skills and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Uploading & Management: Regularly add and update products, ensuring descriptions, specifications, pricing, and images are accurate and engaging.
2. SEO Optimisation: Implement best practices to improve product rankings and website visibility, including keyword research, meta descriptions, and content enhancements.
3. Related Products & Project Baskets: Curate and manage related product suggestions and project-specific product bundles to enhance the customer experience.
4. Landing, Category & Brand Pages: Create and maintain category pages, brand showcases, and landing pages that improve navigation and boost conversions.
5. Content & Blog Creation: Write and optimise blog posts that support SEO efforts and enhance customer engagement with informative and relevant content.
6. Product Data Maintenance: Ensure all product details, images, and specifications remain up to date across the website.

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and website optimisation.
• Ability to write clear, engaging, and optimised content.
• Experience with ecommerce platforms and content management systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic knowledge of image & video editing and website analytics tools is an advantage.
