Our webstore is central to delivering a seamless shopping experience for our customers worldwide. To accelerate Hedon’s growth, we are seeking a meticulous and innovative Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of our e-commerce platform and ensure its optimal performance.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing & Sales Officer (CMSO), you will take full ownership of the Hedon website and webstore, ensuring an exceptional customer journey that drives revenue growth and enhances brand visibility. You will obsess about delivering a superior user experience, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement, making Hedon.com a proud representation of the Hedon brand, as well as a highly efficient webstore.
We are looking for a talented ecommerce professional with a few years’ experience with Shopify, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a sharp eye for identifying and resolving issues. Experience with luxury or lifestyle brands would be an advantage, but is not an absolute requirement. Your passion and personality will matter most: in this hands-on and high-impact role, you are a self-starter, always eager to learn, data-driven and you pursue new ideas without being prompted. Taking initiative and being able to self-manage will be key to success in this role.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop (in partnership with the CMSO) and implement Hedon’s e-commerce strategy to achieve revenue targets and enhance the customer experience.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver a calendar of E-commerce activities in line with the business objectives and the marketing calendar.
Trading Management
- Own the Sales, AOV, CVR, and other Business KPIs for the webstore, with a sharp focus on delivering business objectives.
- Manage product listings, merchandising, and promotional campaigns to maximise Sales.
- Create, upload, and manage product collections, information, content, pricing, etc.
- Plan and coordinate sale events.
- Work closely with the Operations Team to optimise activities based on supply & demand.
Website Management
- Manage all brand domains and platforms.
- Ensure all website content is accurate, up-to-date, and supports business objectives.
- Daily check & maintenance of pricing, availability, stock levels, messaging, content accuracy, webstore functionalities, etc.
- Lead the optimisation (CRO, SEO) of the website(s) to support KPIs & business objectives.
- Lead website data analysis and A/B Testing.
- Create concepts, ideas & solutions for continuous improvement of the webstores.
- Steer and monitor the Shopify development plan; support developers as required.
- Ensure correct connections are in place between domains and relevant digital marketing.
- Support marketing activities (e.g. campaigns, launches, content strategy, etc.) as required.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service team to address customer pain points on the site.
- Ensure compliance with web standards, privacy policies, and security measures.
Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse & report on Business KPIs (Sales, AOV, Loyalty, LTV…) across all domains.
- Analyse & report on Traffic and Conversion KPIs across all domains.
- Keep up to date with eCommerce best practices through training, research, etc.
Be a Hedonist
- Be an organic representative of the Hedon brand - live the brand.
- Ensure use of proper content, materials & tools to “stay on brand”.
- Contribute to the global Hedon strategy and direction; foster a high performing culture, contribute to team capability development when opportunities arise.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, data-driven professional with a passion for luxury e-commerce. This role is for you if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, ideally within luxury or lifestyle brands.
- Proven track record of managing Shopify stores and optimising for performance.
- Strong understanding of UX, CRO, and SEO best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience conducting A/B testing and interpreting data.
- Experience of analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify reports, etc.
- A great sense of ownership and work ethic.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Bonus points if you have:
- Some experience in luxury / lifestyle ecommerce.
- Some experience with CRM & Mail Marketing (e.g. Klaviyo).
- Basic technical skills in HTML/CSS or similar web technologies.
- Familiarity with multi-currency pricing systems and international e-commerce.
