Job description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated eCommerce Executive to help drive the engagement and growth of the Telegraph's Affiliate content. With a focus on Telegraph Recommended, our trusted product review channel, you'll have the opportunity to optimise affiliate content, collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders and help to drive overall Commerce growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive the commercial success of Telegraph Recommended by optimising key KPIs on affiliate content.
  2. Collaborate with third party technology partners to optimise Telegraph Recommended's price comparison offering.
  3. Support the Senior Manager in improving the overall user experience of Telegraph Recommended.
  4. Work closely with Tech and Product teams to flag on-page issues.
  5. Guide Editorial counterparts towards the most commercially advantageous retailers.
  6. Work with SEO colleagues to prioritise articles and categories based on revenue opportunity.
  7. Monitor exclusive retailer rates; advising the Partnerships team on priority advertisers and categories.
  8. Work alongside the team's analyst to track and analyse cancellation and return rates.
  9. Build strong, productive relationships with key stakeholders.
  10. Assist the team with the creation of weekly and monthly reporting materials.
  11. Support the execution of strategies for key retail periods, such as Black Friday, Amazon Prime Day, and Christmas.
  12. Contribute to the ongoing optimisation of other Affiliate verticals, including Hotels.

Requirements

  1. Demonstrable experience in a digital and/or eCommerce environment and able to show a solid understanding of the user journey for Telegraph Recommended.
  2. A good understanding of eCommerce and the role digital content plays in the user journey.
  3. Adaptable and agile, with the ability to prioritise tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Comfortable working with basic data sets on Excel or similar tools.
  5. A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  6. Able to establish strong connections with key stakeholders.
  7. Ambitious, with a desire to innovate, test and learn to help drive eCommerce growth.
