Ecologist: Woking

A medium-large environmental consultancy based in Woking is seeking a passionate and skilled ecologist to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in a range of exciting projects, contributing to the company's commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability around the South East.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct ecological surveys and assessments in various habitats
2. Provide expert ecological advice and recommendations to clients
3. Develop and implement mitigation strategies for protected species
4. Prepare detailed ecological reports and contribute to environmental impact assessments
5. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project delivery

Required Qualifications And Experience:

1. A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field
2. Proven experience in ecological surveying and habitat assessments
3. Strong knowledge of wildlife legislation and conservation practices
4. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. A full UK driving license is beneficial
