Ecologist – Thetford

We are looking for a dedicated Ecologist to join a multi-disciplinary company based near Thetford! The company is committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for both private and public sector clients.

The successful candidate will be involved in a diverse range of ecological responsibilities, including:

1. Conducting protected species and botanical surveys
2. Producing a variety of ecological reports, such as Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs), Preliminary Roost Assessments (PRAs), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), and Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs)
3. Liaising with clients, project managers, and stakeholders
4. Preparing fee proposals and contributing to project planning

Required Qualifications and Experience:

1. A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field
2. Proven experience in ecological surveying and habitat assessments
3. Strong knowledge of wildlife legislation and conservation practices
4. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. A full UK driving license is beneficial
