Ecologist/Senior Ecologist
Surrey
Up to £40,000 per annum

Carrington West are assisting their client in their search for an experienced Ecologist on a full-time, permanent basis.

We have an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary property consultancy. You will be working in a collaborative manner with both their Planning and Rural teams whilst managing your own case load.

You will need:

1. To be MCIEEM qualified.
2. Have a minimum of 3 years' experience.
3. Existing knowledge on Natural England Biodiversity Metric 4.0.
4. Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
5. Can work well within a team.

Key responsibilities:

1. Undertake ecological surveys and prepare associated reports.
2. Advise teams on ecological legislation, guidance, and policy.
3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ecological legislation, and advise project teams.
