Job description

Role:

An Ecological Survey Volunteer assists in the monitoring and recording of various species including butterflies, moths, and dragonflies as part of our conservation management plans.

You will be helping with the delivery of the ecological surveys and monitoring as agreed with the countryside team through meetings and close communication.

Completing records and returning them in a timely manner.

Attending training sessions where necessary to learn required skills and procedures – this includes refreshers and top-ups if systems change.

There might occasionally be some other activities that are of interest to you, that we could use your help with.
Being part of a team that may need to adapt to changing circumstances.

Time commitment:
Volunteering hours vary depending on the role and our opening times. We aim to be as flexible as possible and can discuss more with those interested in the role.
