The Opportunity:

Due to continued business growth and expansion, we are looking for a highly analytical and motivated Paraplanner to join our team in Manchester’s Head Office.

In this role, you’ll support advisers with research, financial analysis, suitability reports, and cash flow modelling, playing a key role in delivering high-quality financial advice.

The successful candidate will receive a Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 Per Annum

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed research and financial analysis on client portfolios.
2. Write concise and high-quality suitability reports and recommendation letters.
3. Carry out annual review analysis and reporting.
4. Work directly with advisers and clients to gather key financial information.
5. Obtain illustrations, cash flow modelling, quotes, and supporting literature.
6. Ensure compliance standards are met and all client work is supported with relevant documentation.
7. Liaise with providers and assist in the submission of new business.
8. Assist with client meetings where necessary.
9. Manage and update back-office systems and data records.
10. Collaborate with the wider team to enhance business processes and improve efficiency.

The Ideal Employee:

We need a Paraplanner who is proactive, organised, and adaptable, capable of working in a fast-paced and evolving business environment. Given that our clients are typically high-net-worth individuals, attention to detail and technical expertise are critical.

1. Minimum of four years’ experience in a paraplanning role.
2. CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
3. Strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and suitability assessment.
4. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to assess complex financial scenarios.
5. Strong report-writing skills – able to present technical information concisely and clearly.
6. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written.
8. Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) and other financial planning software.
9. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
10. A problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to change.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and back-office systems.
